Made the mistake of coming into the Teeyay for some dinner. The food's good, don't get me wrong. Service is fine, everything seems clean. Nope, nothing wrong there.

But I hate watching toothless people eat...especially women younger than I am. Unfortunately, it's like a mass dismemberment. You don't want to look, but you can't help yourself....

...okay, time for Injun to pay the bill and leave now...

 

At least you're in a motel. I spent the night in my truck. Not enough battery left to run the webasto, no shower (QuikTrip), no "friendly" knocks on the door...oh wait, that's supposed to be a good thing.

My cousin has been an O/O for over 30 years. Years ago him and another trucker was walking thru the parking lot at gary late at night and the other guy tripped over something. Was a body that had been stabbed. Someone robbed and killed somebody and left them there in the lot.

 

Given the choice, I would just fight the chaos and go to the yard.
