Boise City, OK thinking I'll wait out the snow instead of driving through it. I've got till Friday morning to get to Billings, MT which I figure to be about 850 miles from here. I could sit all day today, and still make it ontime without even rushing. Why drive in snow if I don't have to?

 

I am in Emmetsburg,Ia trying to get the tractor on my trailer started so I can do what I do on my off-time....S#it its cold.,must be close to home..,which raises a few "deep" questions....Why did my ancestors cross a ocean,half a continent..,only to settle in a place more miserable than what they left???? And,why do I still live there?? And,how am I gonna go number1 standing up,and are we related to turtles..,referring to the cold?? Deep,deep questions...so many....so little time left...

I know.....I stopped in Faucett,Mo,to pick up some cigs musta been like 430am...and I thought it was -20 below?-but it FELT a lot colder than that..Still,Coors cold,-good cold..
