Just had an interesting conversation with the cashier who was told by her manager that the drivers who get a shower here require their towels be folded a certain way.

That seems a little overboard to me.

Sounds like that manager is FOS to me. The manager is the one who requires towels be folded that "certain way" not the drivers. Most drivers I know don't give a crap. They just want clean towels.

Well I have made it. I am in laredo,tx. Injun you want to meet up at the fence between our two terminals lol.
Of course this is only if I am still here by the time you get here. I am begging dispatch to get me out of here asap.
Told them a crazy swift driver is on there way to laredo and she is scary so I must turn and run the other way. lol

Anyone know which truck wash down here is any good? I don't want to use the streakin beacon at the pee-lot

If you go to any Blue Beacon, make it the one next to the FJ in Whiteland IN (I-65 x95). Those guys have their act together and do a really good job. I've called in to compliment them twice.

I was asking about laredo tx truck washes but next time I make it up there during the summer I will give them a try. I never wash my truck when I am in the salt. I wait till I get a load down south so it will stay clean for at least a day or two

I haven't had too much trouble with that Streakin' at the Pilot. If you go there late at night, there's usually not much of a line.

I won't be in Laredo until Monday morning. Hours...70 Rule.....you know how it is.

Lord ONLY knows where I'll be going some time after 06:30 next Wednesday....

But I would not be surprised if Laredo had SOMETHING to do with it.

Home...Growing a little tired of being here....(that MIGHT be a new one)huh?? Company truck is in Ft Dodge,Ia getting fixed so someone else hooked up to the "hot" load bound for Maryland. Seriously thinking of doing 1 of 2 things..1-Buy my own truck.,probably not the best idea with uncertain fuel prices, maybe mandatory e-logs in future for everyone..... 2-Apply at highway construction company I know,$23 an hour to start, overtime, etc.,Maybe time for a change.......:biggrin_255:
