Anyone remember Country Bob's in Dansville? Just wanted to know if it brings back any memories. Or how about the Green Shingle? Good times. At least there you didn't pay for the wall ornaments. You paid for good food, the crooked floors and the wobbly tables.

LMAO, great thread! It's been a few years, but here's a few for me:

Pilot in Charlotte, NC - PITA getting in, PITA getting out. Way to small for the amount of trucks going in and out of it.

TA in Walton, Kentucky. The water smelled bad and the showers were not much better. Same goes for the TA in Maybrook, NY.

    Walt Whitman - Good riddance.

TA in Nashville, TN. Was stuck there for a longggggggggg weekend when I was with Werner.

I wouldnt send my worst enemy to the Pilot in Charlotte NC. I fueled there once and it took over an hour to get in, fuel and get out. I also avoid the Pilot on I 81 in Virginia at exit 150 across from the T/A as well. T/A there is pretty well known for getting your hood sheared off in the parking lot as its pretty tight. I will hit the Lee Hi at exit 195 or Whites just up the road from there and I dont exit at the 150 anymore.

Actually I have been stopping at Harrisonburg VA at exit 243 of late, good food and diesel is generally priced lower there than the others around.

That's the Roanoke Pilot and TA?
That Pilot is a freaking nightmare. (and one of our fuelstops) At least the TA is easy to get into/out of.

There is a pay to park truckstop in Orlando (one of the only truckstops there) that has got to be the worst of all time. Potholes the size of ponds and more dirt then a construction site. What a hellhole. If someone can refresh my memory as to what this hellhole is called that would be awesome.

Truckers Paradise on US 441. Spent a month there one night. You have to get creative when parking in Orlando. Usually customers or near them works.
