For a year I've been noticing MANY cardboard boxes about 30 feet off the road, all over America. These are not boxes that have fallen off of pu trucks, but I truly believe they have been placed there. The characteristics have evolved; at first they were always open so you could clearly see they were empty. Now, about half are either closed or placed upside down and you cannot see if they are empty. Also, there are many many 5 gallon plastic buckets, at first open, now about half are closed. And, in my 17 years of driving, until recently I've only seen maybe one hardhat on the shoulder, but just yesterday I saw about 5 or 6. Yesterday I drove north on I-49 in Louisiana and there is a whole fresh crop of boxes, and lots of empty Bud Lite cartons.

I've strained my brain to figure out who would be organized enough to have these things placed out there all over the county, and why. Is anyone else noticing this? And what do you suppose is going on?

Whenever they all disapear, apparently from the litter crews, it's not long before they are all replaced.

Maybe the "Trust Jesus" highway overpass vandal switched sides?

Since the 1970's someone has painted almost every interstate overpass east of the Mississippi with the words "Trust Jesus" Talk about dedication, it looks to me like they were all painted by the same person.

I haven't noticed the boxes but now that you mentioned it, I'll keep a look out. Interesting...

Here's the reason I'd hoped others have noticed this... and by the way, I didn't see as much along I-10 east in Tx as in the past, some have gotten wet, some areas have been cleaned up, but there are still alot of boxes and buckets and other things that are part of somebodie's project)

Until recently, most of this last year I figured these things were put out by state troopers who might have a project of testing identity chip scanners. (Or something like that) Although this is disturbing enough, not nearly as much as my recent concern. Janet Napolitano and the muslim guy she appointed into homeland security have been warning us that we will probably have another terrorist attack in America this year. I started to wonder how these boxes, buckets, and other items might be a part of some scheme for this. Then, (I was googling to understand these x-ray machines they're using on us in some weigh stations) I hit upon the concept of what they call "dirty bombs." It has to do with radiation dispersal.

When I first noticed these boxes last March, they were all fairly large. Now, they are often small. Some other things I've noticed this week in TX and Louisiana are; plastic bags tied to weeds or bushes, feed sacks, those plastic covered cardboard cartons for 24 water bottles, hard hats, and Bud Light cartons.

You may think this is just trash someone is throwing out, but that's no doubt what someone wants you to think. Once you start seeing repeated characteristics, you'll know I'm not nuts after all.

I really wish several of us would catch on to this, start seeing and telling others. We might thwart someone's plans.

Usually you see those trails it's from a lazy rolloff garbage hauler. Probably coming from the same plant running the same route to the landfill. Some of them guys will run 100-150 miles.

I just did 500 miles or so east on I-10, north on I-59. There aren't so many large boxes out, (maybe 20 along that way,) but there were many spots with lots of trash and several empty smaller boxes, and always a bud-light box, which seems to be their signature these days. I've been running south lately, so don't know what's going on up in the rest of the states. But, based on last year, there might be a whole slew of fresh boxes and containers being placed out there.

Before you mark this off as nuts, consider... how does an empty box get out there about 30 feet off the road, with no packing materials, no spilled contents? And how do so many of them get out there? How often do you see empty boxes in a pick up that might blow out? like... never? When people move their householdsnand a box flies off their pick up, it scrapes along the highway, depositing household stuff all over. How do empty boxes, and other containers get placed all along the highways all over the country.

When you start seeing these patterns of empty containers, you'll SEE them. What ARE they doing out there, and why, and who?
