Don't get me started there. Miller came to town and closed all three NW breweries: Blitz, Ranier and Olympia!!!! Arrrrrrgh they were my friends and my customers. Now I drive a truck.

Ah, yes...I remember that commercial on TV with the motorcycle: RaaaAAAAIIIIIII-NEEeeeeeeeeEEEEERRR BeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR...........

Didn't realize it was Miller put 'em out. Coors was once independent, but it's just another Miller brand now.

So I found out that I can be tricked or fooled real easy. My gf convinced me that she could drop me on a beach in porta rico and that I would believe her if she told me we were in mexico

Apparently the real estate was more valuable in Seattle/Portland than the "Local Brewery" Status. Think G Heilmann was previous owner of those, but they couldn't manage to stay profitable. Actually all the NW breweries were ok, but Heilmann had a lot of dead weight. Miller saw the potential and realized that it really doesn't matter where you brew, but how you brew. Sorry for you CO Koolaid kids and even Auggie folks that grew up in Misery (like myself....with pretty deep roots for an invasive species). I am not in any fashion an officiator of fine brews.... mostly of German descent with a fridge full of cheep beer (bier).
