Alabama coil hauler test? You want a copy of mine?

 

That was the dumbest #### thing I have ever seen.... What good is a Alabama Coil Certification if it doesn't teach you anything about coils? It was nothing but questions about general freight.... It didn't tell you anything specifically about coils.... It did'nt tell you how many chains you need for a 45,000 pound coil. It didn't tell you about wll or breaking points on chains... Plus they ###### up the names of the loading sequences.... Like shotgun, suicide, or eye to the sky... They had different names for those loading styles.... #### it.... Thank god for pictures!!!

 

Well..........................it is Alabama you know. Think how they feel after years of chaining coils down with dog chains to fined out it was the wrong way.

 

Against my will.... I took the test and passed.

The only reason why I broke down & did it is because Mercer decided to pay the $25 fee for all their driver who takes it. I figured with me living so close to the Alabama's coil market, I'll go ahead and take their offer & see what happens with my freight offerings.
