Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

I took Injun's advice. Sent in probably 20 goal messages today. One for every time I put the truck in reverse to back up.
Now if every driver did this, you'd figure this little operation will cost swift 30-35 thousand dollars a day.The Challenger, scottied67 and Injun Thank this. -
OK, I stand corrected. I just received the message over the qualcomm this morning.... Time to GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL I guess!Tapeworm said: ↑Our terminal is really putting the heat on drivers for backing incidents as well. I have not seen anything yet about sending a GOAL message over the qualcomm though.Click to expand...scottied67 Thanks this.

Would someone please post verbatim what this message says? I have not seen it in person.

I haven't sent in the GOAL. I had a situation where I was backed up to a loading dock for over 2 hours today, we shall see if they use that as an excuse not to pay detention. My contention is that as an independent contractor, they cannot require me to do certain things because I don't work for them? Things are still ironing out on that front-- got hit with log violations for driving around on line 1 when I was visiting the folks last month- personal conveyance....
-
They removed the violations, yeah?
-
Well I just found out about it all, woke up from a nap and had a voicemail from DM stating that I had violations and needed to respond macro 42. So I logged onto the portal with both my company and O/O code and saw no violations and no message for violations on the QC either, I think my DM is smoking crack lol. I did see a massive charge against my maintenance account (truck was recently in Swift shop and Kenworth shops for 8 days) so will have to iron that out with rapid response on Monday because these repairs still fall under the 'first 30 days Swift pays' warranty when you first lease a truck.Injun said: ↑They removed the violations, yeah?Click to expand...
So while I believe my logs are clean for the month of February, I just got kicked out of a 'private' truck stop a little while ago. Had to roll up .2 miles to the next truck stop which I'm sure will be red flagged.
Come to think of it, maybe they popped me last month when in the middle of a 10 hour break, I hear this knock on my door, see what's up, and it's my neighbor asking for a jump. So I disconnect my trailer, pull around and jump start his truck for him then reconnect my trailer. Do you think that would red flag my logs in a hand audit? -
###### i forgot to send in my goal messages again today.
scottied67 Thanks this. -
i sent a free form message this morning saying "tug test"
scottied67 and Injun Thank this. -
