Well DOH! There are a Pilot and a Hook at exit 2 on 295.
Del is off exit 10. All I gotta do is get there early enough to grab a spot. I know how Jersey truck stops fill up.
Where are you

simplyred1962 Betty Boop, One Bodacious Babe!!!
We hooked to THE loudest Carrier today!! It sounds like a medium sized airplane, revving for take-off....and it's set to continuous....**sigh**
No sleep for us tonight. We'll try to park far, far away from others. I know if it bothers US, it will REALLY bother others.....
Anyway, hopefully we will get rid of this sucker in Atlanta tomorrow night. -
BTW... There is a fairly late model Carrier running cont one truck away from me. I do not find it offensive at all.
Will wonders NEVER cease????? -
Well then.... If your delivering at exit 10 in New Jersey..... Then why do you have to go across the GWB?
BTW, exit 10 in Jersey is about 50 miles from exit 2 in Jersey. They mark their exits differently. -
..that's where I'm from.
-
How do they mark their exits, if you wouldn't mind explaining to my wondering mind.
-
They don't go by mile marker. They go buy quantity. If there are only 15 exits on that highway, then the last one is exit 15 even though it is 375 miles from exit 1.
NY, ME, NH, CT is all the same way. PA & FL use to be like that but came to their senses a few years ago & changed them to milemarkers.simplyred1962, Injun and JustSonny Thank this. -
I learned something new today..........thank ya, Redd, for the lesson.
-
Please tell me it wasn't 375 miles across New Jersey.... Cause I used hypothetical numbers
