Taking my 34 hr at a TS in Harrisonburg. Decided to walk 3.5 miles to WM to get some nice watermelon and clementines, then 3.5 miles back to truck... and all that walking took 2 hrs on foot. It was very energizing.
Beautiful day, chilli, good for a walking. Went up and down hills, walked on fields, sticks and s#it, fell down, hurt my elbow -but no big deal - and was even chased by a little barking dog
Although company doesn't allow us to use their trucks for personal things during off time, I used to bobtail to run my errands and go see places whenever I could. After all, I don't have a home, I live in here and my 34 are the best time to do these things and enjoy life a little. Now company is monitoring us more closely... comparing our logs with their GPS... But I will be da##ed if I will sit in a truck or at a truck stop lounge for 34 hrs...

Bumpy, they did make kind of a funny/tragic movie with the name Fargo...... that's why.

I know all about that movie..30 yrs ago,I did all my military in the South,training,etc. for 3 years,never heard a word about my Mn. (accent) That #### movie comes out in,what 1993 or something and,EVER SINCE,I cannot get south of Iowa and not get razzed about my accent.. Since I am currently in Fargo.,I think THEY talk funny. Heard here today this city was voted the worst to live in with regards to weather.(Alaska included)

Sounds like i will be getting a different truck pretty soon.Just sucks that will probably get worse mileage with different truck.Getting 6.5 to 8 depending on load at 65mph with this detroit.

In other knews stopped at the peelot for a shower little bit ago.
Had just got out the shower, was half dressed, backing my bag back up when and the short pretty cute girl in charge of cleaning the showers opened the door. Opps I forgot to lock it lol. I told her she is more then welcome to take a shower I was done with it but she didn't seem interested. (so I thought)

When I went to turn in the key and and buy my drinks and snacks for tomorrow. I asked if she was sure and smiled. She smiled shyly turned bright red and then hide her face. The cashier girl asked "What did I miss?" I answered nothing at all, giggled to myself, completed my transaction and went back to my truck.

I know better then to hit on the cashiers and my gf would kill me but I thought the whole thing was funny. and totally my fault for forgetting to lock the door in my haste to use the restroom and get into the shower. I was prairie dogging.
