Hammy: it's basically a 400-mile run with waaayyy too much time on it. Dependng on who the customer is, I would try to get rid of it early. At least show up and send a Mac-5 to prove a point. That's, at best, a 6 1/2 hour load. Hopefully, they back it up with something.

Blsqueak: Next time something is sent to you like that, refuse it...then go down to "other" and state you would like it backed up with something and you'll be happy to run it. Talk to either your DM or one of the ECT folks before you do this.

Rotten, Hamshoe and blsqueak Thank this.

OK took a load from PA-- preplan said Tcall in Richmond so I tried that yesterday but they would not take it. So I had to eat 160 miles out of route and the guy at the Richmond window told me I did not want to Tcall it there anyway, no freight in Richmond. So I took it to Greensboro NC and about 2AM got a beep to go repower a load and take it right back up to Richmond lol. OH boy, back to the no-freight lion's den. Deliver the load fine and dandy then they send me this preplan with 110 miles empty and arrive at shipper and sit there 0 miles loaded. ??? WTF? Evidently staging a bunch of us Swifties over here in Chesapeake Virginia.

Oh and the last 4 loads I dropped/hooked-- every time I did empty call a canned message would spit back "remain with the load, must be live unload". So they wouldn't process my empty call, I just sent a quick message, "I'm leaving now" and skeedaddled up to the Richmond terminal and scanned the trip in lol.
