Yes this isn't the first time I've been buffaloed into signing for violations that she could not tell me what or where it happened. Just "sign it and make money, or park it".

And there's a 7 day off duty log I have scanned in at least 14 times and faxed to her 3 times to take to saftey, but I keep getting put on safety hold for missing logs. I think next time I will just fill out all seven pages instead of trying to multiday it.

When doing a multi-day off duty log, list out the dates in the comments section: "Off Duty El Paso, TX March 03,04,05,06 2011" and make sure you run the line all the way across the "Off Duty" line. In the "number of off duty days" boxes, do not put "07" Just put "7" in the left box and leave the other blank. Remember to do your total "24" in the Off Duty line and "24" on the total line. Without looking at your log sheet, I don't know whether you're doing this or not. Take your completed sheet in to Safety at the next terminal you get to and find out what your log counselings are for when you get there.

Regardless of what your DM says, you have every right to know why you're signing that. If she won't tell you, talk to the Fleet Manager. You cannot allow her to run roughshod over you. You do not work for her. You work with her. She needs to understand that.

Some new T/S here in Carthage, TX. Enroute to WI for Friday afternoon. Arrive with about 1.5 hours to spare on the good old 70. And no, not taking a 34. At least to not plan on it.

Calm down Lucky, I did the right thing. Mac 22'd it. Hurt me to have to do that. Hurts me anytime I'm late on a delivery, even if it is unavoidabe, but for some reason this one got real personal. Probably because I'm just a little more PO'd than usual right now about the idiocy of HOS. I guess we rookies have to learn that truckin' ain't necessary fair...it's just legal. Might cost me a service failure though. I'm sitting 2.5 hours from the final and I'll deliver roundbout 0500 tomorrow. Coulda gotten closer but Redd and that blasted impressionist Alien sold me on the idea of stopping in Fancy Gap. Ain't much for food but it's a beautiful place to spend a night.:biggrin_25525:

Got some bad news about a dear friend of mine today. She's been in the hospital for the past 8 days and it sounds like she may have had a stroke and it's not sounding very good for her. Now's the test for Swift. My DM put me in for get my arse to Idaho. Let's see whether they can still deliver like they did when I was company.

    We shall see.....
