I just took a peek at Crete's recruiting website...there are a bunch of WI 'home weekly' opportunities...when I say a bunch, I was on 2 or 3 different pages, and more cities listed than I could write on a post-it note...including Green Bay...you may want to check it out. Since we aren't allowed to post specific company sites here, just go to Crete's website, and go to the drivers section...and there is a link to the recruiting website. Best-O-luck.

Millis also has a terminal just north of Milwaukee, (Richfield). Millis also has a home time guarantee. They pay YOU if they get you home late. They also pay well and there far less ######## than you would find at Crete. -
..if you need any additional info on any of the trucking companies mentioned here you can always check the TRUCKING CO. DAC RPTS section to see what current/former drivers have to say about them.. here's the link..

HI! I've been insanity busy and loving life(and the miles). Curently looking at my first run into New England(MD) in about 2mths, or maybe 4 (hoping to tcal my way out of it).
I feel bad about the miles I've been gettin, which it part of the reason i've been away for so long. The other reason is that I've just been too #### lazy to
stop by. If this week plays out as planned I'll have all the time in the world tol complain. But as it stands, life is good.

In short. YES!
I do believe my shortest week in the last month to 6 weeks has been in the 3500mi range and I managed a 4400mi week when I picked up a student on the tail end of a good week just as I was running out of hours. I was getting ready to do a reset, but the trainee was was a finisher with one week to go and a clean 70 hrs. Yeah! I haven't had a paycheck under $1900 gross in 3 weeks.Last edited: Apr 16, 2011
90125-2 and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -

MD isn't in New England, thank God for that the traffic around here suks bad enough without being part of New England.lol

It's close enough to make me say bad words when I see MD on my Qualcomm. But good fortune is with me. I traded my MD load for a MN run (keeping life good in the Central time zone)with a tcal in Indy. The MD load didn't deliver until Monday at 23:30. So I'mthrilled to get out of it. I'm still stuck with a Monday delivery, but I got a few more miles out of this run and I will be delivering in the morn instead of the middle of the night. I've nothing to do tomorrow so I'll see what I can do about getting some numbers upThe Stump Guy Thanks this.

Years ago there used to be a waiting list to get on with Crete. Now they are trying to persuade their current drivers to become trainers. What does that tell you?
-
Tells me the economy has improved and they are playing catch-up to fill trucks. They are also trying to fill trucks left vacant by drivers for medical reasons, home time issues, saftey related reasons, OTR burn out, retirement, driver unfreindly changes in compnay policies, etc......Just like any other large carrier.evertruckerr, Poetry-in-Motion and 90125-2 Thank this.
