Where are you

Got a level one insp yesterday at the southbound i75 scale in london ky and left with a new cvsa sticker in thw window. At the shop in knoxville right now for a quick ac tune up then grab our trailer and head for miami!

This place has some history to it, I can feel it. Sadly, it has no website. It does however have a picture of Rick Crawford winning some race back in 2005 with the Circle Bar logo right smack dab on the front of his driving suit. They even have the suit framed and mounted here in the truck stop.

Oh and when I woke up this morning I had a lovely swarm of bees chilling above the driver side of my windshield and side mirror. I drove one lap around to shake some off. The rest I had to pull in to the free truck wash and pressure wash them off.

Apparently a bee hauler spent the night here, and in the process of transporting bees, some of them will escape..and they did..and they thought my truck was a nice place to set up camp.

iv been stuck at santiam RR near Salem Or since since sunday night broke down and waiting for parts this whole week is a wash...

 

That's an ISX, right? I think the design on those is defective. Let me guess, the belt squeals when the fan comes on?

Mine squealed really bad right after a new belt and tensioner pulley was installed. After switching to an OEM Volvo belt (from a Gates), the squeal went away... for a while.

If you look at how much of the fan pulley is actually in contact with the belt, it's not much---maybe a quarter of the circumference. Not enough in my opinion. But then opinions are like ########, everybody has one and they all stink.

 

Oak Grove, KY. Meander down to Atlanta tomorrow and del at 0600 Thursday, then should be headed home.

 

He's a good one too... understands that things have to be taken care of while you're there, doesn't do half the job and tell you to come back in two weeks.

Groveport OH... picking up a preloaded trailer. 'Cept they loaded the load on the "wrong trailer." Guess I'm gonna be here awhile - 14 expires shortly...
