More than a quarter? Crap. Now I'll have to carry around 2 pounds of change.

Place your littlest finger in the round hole next to the number you want to dial...one at a time, and you have to use all numbers, for long distance, start with the number "1" then the 10 numbers for the person you want to call....now hold your finger firmly but lightly and move the "dial" in a circular motion clockwise till your finger (still in the hole) makes contact with the curved silver colored "stop" bar.

Now pull your finger out of the hole and let the dial return to it's original position...repeat until all numbers have been "dialed"!

Anyone notice that that could have some definite innuendo possibilities?:biggrin_25525:

What about if they are updated phones and have push buttons? He's gonna be totally confused if he tries to place a finger in a hole that isn't there and turn it :biggrin_2554:

    OK!

Find yourself a light weight hand truck....place the "brick" on the platform to transport the "mobile portable phone" wherever you wish to go.......you will have to wait approximately 8 years before the portable phone becomes transistorized, digitized, and truly pocket sized!

Were those things much smaller than the "radio" we had in Viet Nam?:biggrin_25524:
