AC&T, Hagerstown, MD, enrte back to the Carolinas.

Injun, already sent a directed msg to the FM today. Now just waiting to see if he will reply and want to talk to me. It did sound like a threat to me. Luckily the whole conversation is on the QC, and there is no wiggle room.

Scottie, since you are L/P, would you not be responsible yourself for knowing when B service is due.

Hamshoe, scottied67 and Injun Thank this.

I just signed for the truck only 2 months ago. At that time I inquired as to shop history/records of the truck. Based on what they told me about the date of last Bservice, I guesstimated when it would be due. During a conversation with my DM, I asked when it was due, she looked it up and said "36?" I was like 36 days or 36 miles? Miles. I wasn't far off, as I had set the GPS reminder (about 150 miles off) and was getting the reminder every time I turned the GPS on. Anyway, I reset the reminder out, and will be watching for when it is due as my DM never does/did even when I was a company driver. I once went 4000 miles past due for Bservice and never knew til I got this automated message about if the truck breaks down the repairs will be on me.

I'm curious what T/A did to Injun's truck changing oil that the truck wouldn't start afterward? Also would like to know some of the pros/cons of using T/A as opposed to Swift terminals for Bservice's. I read in my little welcome package that the service and 90 day DOT thing was $89 bucks but they charged me $210. On top of that I had to deadhead 160 miles at a reduced rate and no fuel surcharge and lost my empty trailer for the privilege. I could have spent a few more bucks and less headache at the T/A I'm thinkin.

I remember the other day that when I was at Freightliner, they were offering ful service for $199, unless it was that DS15(or whatever that engine is) Also remember that when with my last company, they always said that theirs was the best price on the road, only do find out that many T/A's had weekend mgs specials, and saved me over $50, and no waiting like sitting in a terminal all day. Injuns was at a Petro

The TA off exit 1 in Zion, IL.

Spent last night in a hotel in Columbus since the dealer never brought the truck back yesterday.

Deliver in Oshkosh at 2pm tomorrow and then it's off to home I go.
Got 3 days off coming, but I'm only taking 1 since I've been doing all this sitting in the shop.

I asked if I'm in any danger or if all this waiting in the shop is going to go against me putting me in the flex fleet. Thank god it's not. If I have a fairly decent week running out the rest of April starting this Saturday I should still make the 7500 mile monthly breaking point, anyways.

They didn't fill the fuel filters all the way up. The electric pump overheated and popped the fuse. It was Petro in York, NE.

I don't go to terminals for PMs because they take too long. I let them do the 90-day inspectins, maybe change a tire. They did some minor recall stuff. But otherwise, terminals don't fool with it. I'm not going to wait two days for a PM.
