Question? How do 300+ pound people that waddle get through the door and behind the wheel? And were they like that before or after trucking? Because well before I hit 300 I would already have shot myself!!!!!

 

Well, when I started driving, I was about 200 pounds, already too much for my 5'6" height. Plus, I've never been light, as I'm pretty stocky anyway.

Now, I'm 260. I've been struggling with weight for a long time. I do not "waddle" anywhere. I have no intention of shooting myself. I am working hard (harder than I've ever had to) to begin to get the weight off. I have no desire to shoot myself.

..."don't want to take a chance on weekend dispatch..." That's BS...pure, undiluted BS. I don't like our w/e dispatch anymore than you like yours. But taking a chance on them beats the hell out of sitting. Injun was right in her post earlier today.

If anyone sounds more prone to shooting themselves, it would be you.

I'm in Grand Junction, CO. parked in front of the shop waiting to find out in the morning if the rude noises my engine was making last night are bad or VERY BAD.
The tow truck company was nice enough to detour off the highway to drop my trailer in my recievers yard so the freight won't be late...But it still cost me $1312.50 to get towed the 150 miles to the shop from where I broke down.
