    Heading north for a change. Kinda glad to get out of the south for a while--all the Chinese Privet is flowering and the smell is sickening. :puke:

    I have to tell ya...I am reading through these posts rather quickly as I'm about done being loaded....and I thought this said

    ...the Chinese Privvy is flowering and the smell is sickening...".

    Which of course may be true, but.....

    i have no idea what that is but I agree the smell of what ever the plants are is horrible! Its almost like you can smell your allergys attacking you lol

    It is a non-native shrub that grows along the treeline and recently logged areas. It is everywhere in the south and the smell when it is in bloom is absolutely nauseating. Kinda reminds me of orange blossoms which I can't stand either.
