It's a joyful exp., one you'll never forget as long you live. I've done it more times than I care to remember, it's especially fun when you have to put them on while on dry pavement and take them on in slush after never hitting snow because they forgot to take the sign down :biggrin_25513:

What do ya mean you hope he doesn't listen to me? Never seen any instruction on how to put them on, only how to lock them on. :biggrin_25517: Most of the time I can pull in and chain up and be gone before the drivers that were there before me are still there. I only chained the back axle for 2 reasons, 1 tire chains and half fenders dont play nice with each other,2 most the time that I was in Colo. and the chain law was up it was because 2 or 3 inchs of snow and no real need for chains in the first place. I think people in Vale like the sound chains make on blacktop. :yes2557:
Today two of my chains are working as back scratchers for cows and the other two are aging nicely over a gate.:biggrin_25525:

Hoping things get better for ya REDD

If they like the sound chains made on blacktop, they wouldn't be contemplating banning us on the weekends so we don't interefere with the precious skiers
