Below are pictures that were texted to me of the damage to my property. From what I have been told, I only substained tree damage from last nights tornado's.
From what I heard on the weather channel is that the string of tornado's that hit Alabama, Georgia, & Tennessee last night was the largest, deadlist, strongest string of tornado's in the United States since April of 1974.

I'm in clear skies in Pembroke, NY and the wind feels like those storms. Fedex was not plackerd. But I did not/can not make ontime del. Too many miles and not enough hours.
Looks like this Flying Hook will be "home" for 34 hours or so.
A Scneider just came flying up next to me, jammed on the brakes, backed up a little, got out and RAN towards the building.
way he came up made me think Swift (no offense to the GOOD Swift drivers) -
Redd, I just saw that there is one town there which is completely cut off. No roads in or out at this time. The photos and video are heartbreaking. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to be in the middle of all the destruction. My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected by this.

That would probably be Ringgold, GA

That would be the one. Just unreal.

That is where my sister lives.... My kids are at her house for a few days until Georgia Power can remove the trees from the power lines at my house.
They tried to access the actual downtown area this afternoon but were told to go away. -
This picture is of a residential section in Ringgold.

Are you trying to get home right away or are you going to wait for awhile? It's good the damage to your house wasn't any worse, but it's still bad enough.
I can't wrap my head around how long it will take to clean everything up that has taken these hits. I keep trying to tell myself there has to be some good come out of this; all I can come up with is there will be people working to clean up, and there will be rebuilding go on, which will hopefully help put some people back to work. Then I think about how many of those who live in these places have lost their jobs due to the destruction of their businesses.

I'm gonna keep trucking. Right now I can't afford to go home. So far this month I replaced my A/C condensor, recharged my A/C, replaced my grill screen, replaced 8 trailer tires, replaced my cab blower motor, fan, radiator, both transmission cooler lines, alternator, belt, & belt tensioner.
I'm about 7 grand into the truck & I'm broke.
I canceled my vacation to Minnesota to visit old friends in June. I'm still taking that time off. Just going to stay home & cut up trees & burn out stumps that are left. -
Praise God Redd!
