Home in Buckeye Lake for the next 6 days. Then off to one of 3 terminals to pick up my new truck. At least that is the plan.

 

I never got why some of you other drivers are so bothered by APU's/reefers.

I'd rather be next to one since it provides a white noise and helps drown out the more sudden noises like a truck moving past where you're parked or trucks setting their brakes, ect.

Bungee supply was running low, so I went in to the parts room and asked for them. I was handed a bag of 10 with no questions asked, not even truck number or driver code.

Evansville WY, near Casper. Picking up another heavy load in Green River and taking right back to Lost Angeles where I came from yuck. Some blustery wind and non sticking snow. 29 degrees at night. Came up here on 287 AKA Sand Creek Massacre Trail. Anytime I think I'm having a bad day I think back to Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.

Sparks, NV. No beeeeep yet for me either. I was told last night some freight came in, but they were planning people from two days ago. It's a different crew here right now. I'll give 'em a chance, but won't be bumped out for nepotism.

 

Just kickin it here at the shipper in Green River WY. Preplan said "Take ur mt trlr 2 swap". I read that is preloaded. Nope. Talked to another Swifty here, he's spent the night out here and is still not loaded. My window is 0900 - 2300 for pickup, oh well let the detention pay begin....
