They "killed" him last week? The body has been burred at sea? No photos(as of yet) The birth certificate also came out last week.
    Interesting timing or reelection timing?

I understand your skepticisim - the credibility gap has been around quite awhile.

OTOH, there's no reason to have "faked" it - the liability of a live Bin Laden showing up would completely destroy any benefit to be gained. It would also destroy the military careers of any officer involved in such a plot. I think better of them - and you should too.

And the timing issue is bogus. The SpecOps community already missed an opportunity to get Bin Laden at Tora Bora. Once having identified the target and prepped the mission, it is ludicrous to think that they would have waited for months to obtain some political leverage.

Why don't you guys just give it a rest, and join with the rest of America celebrating the demise of this monster? On my part, I had the distinct pleasure of driving up I287 within a few miles of ground zero today.

Springfield MA - waiting for my turn at the unloading dock.

Funny...I never took you for being part of the "apology crowd"!

The timing was everything! The POTUS must give the "green light" in order for a sanctioned "assassination" to move ahead to the final moment. Why else did they wait since August 2010 to move in on the compound knowing all this time he was in there? Do you really believe they were trying to get Pakistan to "turn him over"?

Why would we "celebrate"? Wouldn't that makes us just like them? I guess we should all get outside and start shooting our guns in the air now!

I think they were making sure that they had what they though they had. This kind of operation doesn't get put on in some kind of Rube Goldberg moment. And no, I don't apologize for anything in this. This is a day I've waited for nearly 10 years. Its a good day! Waste yelo! Hoka Hey!

Bin Laden's courier was tracked to a compound so secure, officials guessed it was built to hide someone important.
