I see, and yes being home every night is a big change from being on the road for many years. It didn't take me long to adjust but unfortunately financially wise it just didn't work out for me to stay home. Hope it works for you if thats what you want.

It's obvious with your limited experience that you don't know how most of these BIG companies work. Most tell you when and where you can do everything and your cards will only work at specified fuel stops.

Dave you might want to quit listening to people and just start looking else where. Worse thing that will happen is you won't get another job yet. OTOH if you need to be told how and when to do everything then like Redd said trucking might not be a good career for you.
