Emporia VA at the Peelot (Sadler's)...

They have a Five Guys burger joint here. I've never ate there before so I think, "Ahh, what the hell..."

The menu is simple: Hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon burger and, of course, fries.

What I didn't realize before going in there though, was that I'd need a small loan from Donald Trump. I ordered a cheeseburger and small fries--it came to $462,925.32---ok, so maybe that's a small exaggeration--it came to just over eight bucks.

When she called my order number, she filled the cup with fries, tossed the hamburger and fries in a bag, then proceeded to use a coal shovel to pack every available inch of the bag with fries. :biggrin_2556: Ok, well they are supposedly the best fries in the world. Who can complain there?

Thankfully they had plenty of day laborers outside the door, as the bag was too heavy to carry back to the truck by myself. Once Jose and I got the bag loaded into the truck, I dug in...

The worlds best fries? Um... NOT! Sorry, Five Guys, but Bill Thomas Halo burger whips your fries all to hell. And though the burger was good, and large enough to feed a small African nation, I'd say a Halo Burger wins that battle too.

At any rate, after this, plus the two apple fritters I ate earlier, I shouldn't have to eat again for at least three years. :biggrin_25525:

Well made it to Resaca Ga. before my 14 ran out.
94 miles short of 8am appt. Haha lol isn't it a shame I can't move again until 8:30am. Then I am sure it will take at least 2 hours to make it to the south side of Atlanta to the recievers. Maybe next time this shipper has a hot load they MIGHT just actually act like it and load them up when they get there to pick it up instead of making driver wait in the lot for 6hrs and 45 min. To load.
