Rock Springs, WY at the old Cruel Jack's. Won't be eating here although Ted's looks like it might be worth a try at some later date.

I followed the suggestion of someone who should know and stopped at that Cowboy Cafe in Lyman. The food was good, waitress very nice and you definitely get enough to eat. They bread their own Country (chicken) Fried Steak. Do you know how rare that is becoming? Seems everybody is going to those frozen, pre-breaded hamburger patties...even Baker City (OR) Truck Corral, who claims this dish as their "specialty." Yak! Anyway, the food was good and I got more than enough. But, they are a bit proud of their food. For a fried steak, mashed potatoes, peas, dinner roll, cup of soup and a 20-oz pop the young lady was willing to refill, I paid $14.99. Despite this, I will most likely return if for no other reason than they bread their own steaks.

Yeah I had a blast last night, I wish we all could have had more time for stuff like that.
Guess we have to think BlackW900 and his Priest for making him recite 300 Hail Mary's and run across Wy with a Swift driver or this event last night might not have takin place. That must have been one hell of a sin!!!:laughing-guffaw:

    LMAO!!
It was a combination of that and some Kentucky hillbilly telephonicly twisting my arm via a big dude like BW9 to get me to veer right instead of left. It was worth it. Next time, we gotta have Redd and Nana there, too.

    REDD and 07-379Pete Thank this.

Home in SC...where wifey surprised me with an early Father's Day gift...no pics yet, but it's an old RCA Victrola radio/phonograph combo, model 59V1 (if anyone here has any knowledge of such things....I love old radios but have little knowledge). Not sure if it works yet, but it's in terrific condition....so now I have something to putter around with and (hopefully) not destroy!
