I'm beat... too much helpin' the younger troops gettin' through their trials and tribulations with blindside backing and trailer follies.

I don't know about the freight but the clutch has gotten jumpy. With the first load I took a light one and it was fine. The next load I put it to the test and it got jumpy. When you let out the pedal it starts to grab then boom its all on and if I don't rev the truck up good it jumps like crazy.

All most sounds like a funky free play or grease on the fiber plates.

I'm wondering if the intermediate plate is warped or its like the flywheel is warped, but I had that turned. It will probably end up me taking it back out......

 

It wasn't the intake manifold gasket as suspected....

They charged the system & the only air leak is my CAC.... I'm ordering a Detroit cheaper then the OEM... So I told them to leave it alone. Come to find out, my exhaust manifold gasket is fried.


They didn't pull it into the shop until a couple hours ago...... I've been there since about 12:30 this afternoon.

 

ouch!!!!!.........Well the world is gonna end Sat night so it dont really matter.

 

I loaded in Bakersfield, CA. on Monday night, Unloaded in Cole Harbor, N.D. last night, Loaded in Pierre, S.D. today and I'm unloading and reloading in Denver, Co. tomorrow and then heading for Sacramento, CA. for a Monday or Tuesday delivery....Depending on my mood.

 

Sounds like maybe a steak on the Barbie?
