All hrs of service are same.I team drive we run 10 hr shifts.Theres really no reason to run more than that with two people in the truck.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Yes sir everything is the same. You'll still be logging a pre and/or post trip, you can split your sleeper berth time if your partner is on a 34 for instance, if you started driving at midnight and went for 11 hours then the other guy runs his 11 or less you would still have driving time left as well to go over 11 before midnight again-- just like solo.
-
Yes it's the same. There are ways to stay constantly running though. There are also ways to run in which it will be a lot more comfortable to drive.

Can you tell me more about this.
I am running team O/O right now with my partner.
I am a morning person, and he is a night person. I wake at 5:30am, and him at around noon. I stop for lunch, and he gets up, and ready to go. -

Thank you Mike, that is exactly what we are doing.
I thought there was a magical secret I might not have known about. -
there are two types of non stop though...
11 driving hours a day continually will require a 34 reset... sooner or later.
or
something like only 8 or 8.5 hours a day to truly be able to run nonstop over months and months.

Make sure your logbooks always match up. In other words he must show "in sleeper" while your showing "on duty driving" and so on. DOT will compare them.
-
The trainer can be "off duty" and in the passenger seat while the trainee is driving. Correct?
But once during a DOT inspection in ohio, maybe it was just ohio inspection, I was in the sleeper. I woke up during the inspection and he told me to stay in the berth or they could examine my logs.
