Clinton SC Pilot. Hot and humid. Down to about 16 hours available for the next couple of days. Turned down a 1000 mile load as it was too risky (delivery on 10th--).

Walmart didn't have a single Swift empty trailer so bobtailed out. May go back down the road later to the rest area and Abby and I will sleep on a blanket under a tree to stay cool.

Salina, KS. Also quite hot. Was planning on delivery in the afternoon in Windsor, but my hours are just too close. 470 miles to go, and have 8.5 hours, and only pu 5 Thursday night. Bobtailing to purchase load locks, and then the mtn and hills, killed my hours. Have a feeling that I will be in Denver until Saturday, when I will have 13 available. Really do not want to do a 34.

Vegas. Looks like for another night. Girly's doing just fine, now. Found the root of the problem. Had a load preplanned on me going to Billings, MT ...for about 15 minutes. Didn't have time to answer it because I was scrambling to replace my light cord, replace a fuse, scan trips....and then the ppl was gone. Multi-planned, apparently.

S'ok...needed to get that trailer marker fixed, too. And needed a dang shower!
