Good night from...

Speaking of TA's we've been trying to fuel there (and Petro) for the double points deal through June 16. Currently at Candler NC TA. We shut down early and since it was only 88 degrees we slept in the truck today, luckily so because it has started sprinkling-- nice and cool out now. Got a nice 2000 mile load going to Ogden UT, aiming for Mt Vernon IL TA next....

 

After Houston yard last night, nasty place, at home tonight for my overnight. One of the benefits of running regional, I get an odd night at the house now and again. But, back to Houston tomorrow with a Campbell Soup load.

 

I have also been fueling at the T/A and Petro, and have not been seeing double points. Example, pump 120 gals, points earned, 120.

 

I try to hide anytime I go to Houston! Last time they found me and made me come into the terminal.. Yes I lost my empty and then had to get a new one filled with metal shavings... Don't like Houston at all..

 

Who would "make" you go into the terminal and how'd you lose your empty??
Maybe you shoulda hauled ##### once you got your empty...

Johnsons Corner T/S, Loveland, CO. No Freight. DM recommended not going to the terminal. I was not planning on that anyway. Too far and with my luck, I would just be sent back up here in the morning. At least free Wi-Fi

 

Blsqueak,do you think that is just a weekend thing? Because last time i was there i had a 2 day wait for freight midweek,also I am going to be there tuesday morning.i'm going to stop going to co. if that is the case.

 

I really do not know. There are a few other trucks sitting here. They did send me a p-plan, and before I had a chance to even look at it, it was taken from me by another driver. It was okay. My clock started at 7 this morning, and the load delivered at midnight. I know that when my DM tried to call the planner, they put him on hold and would not talk to him, so he called another, and they did the same thing. Told me that the computer showed me out of hours. I had 5 left when I got mt, but the computer showed me out of hours at 1400. As I was typing this, they just sent me another one, same cust, same rec, just different ld number.

 

Lathrop still but got me a few coils this time going to albuquerque. Finally out of here but I like this place. I just park in the road in front of the trailers. lol.

 

I will be in ALB tomorrow sometime around 5pm. Gonna see if the shop is empty as it usually is when I come through and see if they can fix some minor stuff. Love this terminal always fast.....
