C'mon down. Maybe you can help me "convince" him he needs to leave town.

Seriously though, I am way beyond jacked about this dude. The cops know who he is, but didn't let on to my wife yesterday that they knew him.

So then today she sees him at walmart, scamming out in the lot. I told her to call the cops and get her friggin $20 back. Of course when the cop got there, the guy saw him and disappeared. My wife was too ########### to follow him and I couldn't get up there fast enough. Cop said he knew who he was and that he was local... Runs him outta there all the time.

Well I'm about to put the fear of god into him... He better cough up $20 and never show up at her store again or I'm gonna feed his carcass to the gators.

I hear ya. There is 2 of them that work the local Walmart here too. Sorry thet it happened to your wife and you can guarantee that we would "convince" him to leave town if I came down. Matter of fact I believe I am heading down that direction around Tuesday unless plans change before then. :yes2557:

She runs a dog grooming shop and he came in there giving her a line of #### about needing $14 more dollars to get a battery for his car--you're a truck driver, I'm sure you've heard the same line a million times.

Anyhow, he's a fairly big guy and he scared her, so she gave him the money to make him go away... then called the cops. It pisses me off because this ain't the first time someone's come in there running a line of #### on her. And, of course, I'm out on the road during the week and these con-artists know she's by herself.

I really need to get off the road.

Parked in a friends driveway. Actually had a date tonight with a lovely woman. She originally was going to pick me up. So I called this old friend of mine & asked him if I could park in his driveway.

He said sure, but aren't you going to visit?

So I told him that I had a date but did have a couple hours I could visit before hand. So not only did he allow me to park in his driveway, but he said I could use his pick up as long as I promised not to hit any trees with it.

There is a story there... The last time I borrowed his pick up, I totaled it by hitting a tree.

Anyhow, I had a great night. This woman & I drove around a good bit talking & seeing how much this area changed since I moved. Then we went to Famous Dave's for dinner. The somehow we ended up at a go-cart track...... Those things are expensive & I kept getting passed by a girl. I think the go-cart I had was equipped with a Volvo D12 engine. Then afterwards we sat in a parking lot & talked for 4 hours. Yes, talked!

    Oh.... On edit....

    Hammerheadmn,

Why didn't you tell me they moved US-10 in Staples? I drove thru there wondering why nothing looked familiar. Then I realized that they moved the fricken highway! and what was going on in Wadena? I say hundred & hundred of bikes in town. Did you guys have a rally of some sort?

Still in Spirit Lake. The wind in my hair, courtesy of Harley-Davidson, for the first time in a very long time. A most excellent day.
