Hello out there! Does anyone know anything about Marten Transport in Tucker GA? Need info if you have it!
-
Crete - A year in Review. Ummm. Must be your first day in school and you walked into the wrong classroom.
-
Good luck to ya, I hope only the best for ya. If you use the same work ethic there that you did here, you'll probably retire long before any of us Cretins. I for one could never do it, my 1st years out of high school were spent in/around an office and computers...and I hated it, and I spent years learning about computers...although I am not enjoying this as much as I use to. I had even contemplated working the local Wally D/C...wife has friends that have been there for years and can get me in, but I would probably stare at the inside of the trailers at the doors and wonder if I had made a mistake... No offense, but I hope our only meeting would be sitting in traffic...if we ran into each other any other way, that would mean you were back trucking...since I'm not likely going to be a customer of your new adventure...again, best of luck.
evertruckerr and 90125-2 Thank this. -
They have a blue bird on their trailer!

Did you seriously just ask that question a second time on this thread?

Lupe? Is that you? -
Us'ins here in georgia are uset to talks like that. Just a produc of the georgia public edumacation sistem.......... -
ET!
Good luck in your new endeavor. Thanks for all you great posts - they were the reason I busted my hump to have Crete/Shaffer take a look at my application.
You see, I did not go to a Crete/Shaffer approved school - but a darn good one anyway. I went up the food chain at Crete far enough with my pleas for consideration that they finally decided they would take a look at me. I just finished day 2 of orientation and with a little luck, I will be out with a trainer in a day or two.
Everyone, and everything that I have encountered in working with my recruiter (Issac) and coordinator (Cathy), and all the folks at the Wilmer yard (especially Joyce) has only confirmed my belief that I made the right decision. I am starting on the Shaffer side fresh out of truck driving school - and I only have you to thank for it.
Thanks again ET - I too will miss your posts.
Best Wishes,
TooTall
