    Denver Co Terminal
This Terminal is a Mad House with trailers parked Everywhere!!
Had to use some mad skillz to get my trailer into the last available legit spot.
And that spot was left empty for a reason... almost no room to back it in and... had to do it blindsided! FUN!!

    And Congrats Hammy!

Memphis terminal....blower on the ac quit working 3 weeks ago... so I have some time on this run and was passing by the terminal...arrived at 1300 in the shop at 1500 and out at 1900....not bad considering they also tightened up a few loose parts...lol...freakin bat wings I banged up over the winter and have been using bungie cords to keep from flopping in the wind. They actually did a walk around inspection of the tractor and fixed what was needed from a safety point of view I suppose. I have always been impressed with Memphis terminal...thats why I took the chance on getting in the shop and not be stuck here under shop status.

Acoma NM at Sky City. Last night at Oklahoma City terminal. Drove all day here with headwinds sucking up my fuel. I knew I was in trouble after only 300 miles and was at 5/8. Qualcomm says 5.2 MPG but calculator says worse-- filled up at OK city, and put in 150 gallons in Albuquerque terminal at 545 miles. I think I just put my paycheck in the tanks.

Oh boy what a day... 44,000 pounds of flour going to dog food plant and the whole way was on two lane little road with plenty of hills and curves. Went down a 7% grade about a mile long and looked in my mirror and cloud of smoke from brakes. WTF hardly even used the brakes???

Get to consignee and they reject load because there test showed high levels of some kind of mold. Not a #### thing out here. Population 240... Now I am outa hours and way too tired to worry about it now, going to sleep in meta mo.

Need to get trailer looked at kinda strange brakes would smoke like that when jakes on and only going 45.

Looks like I get to stay here for the night. Next ld does not pu until between 1500-2300 on preldd trlr, going to Valdosta for 6/23. Also have to stop at the TA in Rogers, MN. Replace a defective drive tire. RRO. Lost the 2nd to last inside tread. Just broke off on the drive up her yesterday. Looks like will get a 34 again, and 1800 miles for the week. At least a good start to the next week b4 home time. What is bad, thought for sure that would get something that I could del by Wed, so topped off the tanks 300 miles ago. Oh well. Live and learn. Less fuel that will be deducted next week.

spent last night in a hotel here in okc since the a/c is out. went to the kenworth shop here this morning and they say it's a 3-4 day wait. so now i am waiting for the pod to get me north to cooler climes. if i have to sit for half a week to get the truck fixed, it's gonna be someplace cool.
