Get this....taking an unplanned 10 at the Plymouth, WA POE.....thanks to OR Ashland scale recording me (supposedly) at "06:17:42PM" crossing on the 19th, northbound....exactly 12 hours AFTER my pre-pass recording puts me passing the closed scale.

Officer Johnston, here at Plymouth was doing a regular Level III, and the log check print out from OR 7 days ago, shows the error....and with the new CSA mandates on the State of WA, the officers MUST shut down a driver for a mandatory 10, with any "possibility" of a false or fictitious log. Officer Johnston did not write me a ticket, but did have to show....with his comment agreeing with the pre-pass information (from my lap top, and directly from the pre-pass web site) that the driver (me) was in possesion of a "potentially fictitious" log book, and that he was shutting the driver down for a mandatory 10 to "satisfy an obvious mistake by OR scale recording device" and "following the guidelines set forth from his department". Also Officer Johnston noted...."driver is not upset, or irritated at this Officer, or the WA DOT, and is fully cooperating with the directive."

Officer Johnston....is a 25 year experienced driver, still drives on occasion for his father, a 40+ year Independent O/O.....we have just concluded a rousing back and forth for 3 hours....regarding FMCSA, WA regs, OR FUBARS, and especially CA FUBARS! Good people this Officer Johnston!

I will be departing the Plymouth scale at 2300 and continuing to my Post Falls, ID delivery with plenty of time to spare!

In Indy at the term.. just say the pizza man deliver something to the gate.. think i'm bout to call 'em up and order something. Heard an interesting convo on the CB (yep, finally got one) about the Amish as i drove through Ohio. It's jus crazy what drivers allow to come out of their mouths.

    Haters gonna hate.

    Sioux City, IA.
Words cannot describe the wind and rain I drove through up I-29 to get here. I swear the lightning was going from the ground up through the clouds and forking out across them. It was awesome yet scary at the same time. Oh and I swore the wind was going to blow my truck over. Also, thanks to a detour on I-29 I got to drive through a flooded street. That was a new experience. Me and the truck behind me were the only two who weren't worried about stalling.

Oh and check this out! I bought a 2011 Black Hills Rally t-shirt. The label reads Officially licensed Sturgis product. I feel cool again. :)
