Russell, Kansas rest area on I-70. $2 for a water or soda in the vending machines...what a rip off!! After $35 in Kansas/Oklahoma tolls the last 2 days it doesn't really matter!

Thanks Injun! I do appreciate the response. Do you have a dedicated run? I would like to hear from some company drivers about how they're doing, as a general average that is. If I could average around 2500 miles a week that would be great. If a lot of other Swift company drivers are able to do that too, I will absolutely go for it. Sure will appreciate it if some other Swiftys will post a response! Thanks!

Coming out of Oregon southbound on the Eye 5, I was debating getting fuel at Lathrop but noticed the prices at TA Corning and Redding were only 2 cents more than Lathrowup. So I pushed on to the TA Livingston and paid $3.95 cash price which beats Lathrop by almost 9 cents yay the savings paid for my dinner.

ThaiTexBil, I think it was Hamshoe who made a thread detailing miles and pay, just have to look further down the main Swift page for it.

I'll be fueling at Joe's $3.92 ... Lathrop prices are always higher than the economy. I've seen it as high as $.20 more.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

Forgot to mention the crafty guy making Subway sammiches in Oakland OR Pilot. My food was $6 bucks even. I had some 20's, a 10 and a $1 dollar bill which I threw in the tip jar and handed him the 10 for to make change. Later when I went to go buy an iced tea, discovered only three $1's in my wad. This guy has tiger stripe tattoos on his arms and respectfully keeps his iPod ear phones around his neck when making your food.
