N. Platte, Nebraska...Flying J I have been sitting way too much lately. I get the feeling they are trying to push me into a lease and if this is their tactics for that then it is time for me to move on.
Good night from...

Hmm wonder what's going on? Seems to be happening to a few friends of mine as well.

This week for me will be in the 1600's miles, last week 1800's, and the week before that was 1400's miles.
Delivered my load of potatoes today. I will not be eating potatoes any more, those things are covered in dirt!
Stopped in for coffee, do you drive a white shiny Prostar truck number starts with a 9? Very clean, nary a bug on the grill nor hood. -
Seriously, Scottie??

I've wondered for awhile now if they're pushing company drivers to lease. They say they want to increase their L/Os and decrease company drivers. It seems like they have a few different ways of doing it.
My miles are still good. But I've had other issues (like waiting for a truck after hometime). Kinda sneaky. Instead of being upfront and promoting leasing in a direct way, they're just being jerks to us company drivers.
It's gonna backfire on them, and they will simply lose drivers. A few may be pushed into leasing, but others will just find another company to drive for.scottied67 Thanks this. -
They need to spice up the lease option then. Better fsc, better pay and so on.
Barstow Ca. Tried Chesters and wasn't impressed with the dry cold stuff. Flying Js choke and puke at the fuel desk is better and at least room temperature.scottied67 Thanks this. -
my miles were good as a company driver, but i had to wait for a truck after hometime. that's how they got me.fr8monkey and scottied67 Thank this.
