    Well I had a conversation with my mentor a little while ago and he saved me from the long bus ride gary. He is heading my way tomorrow anyways so he is going to pick me up about an hour from my house. Found out he is an owner-op as well.

    Cabovers were phasing out when I started. I think it was like 1997 when they disappeared when JBHunt was last to change over. But I remember Swift, MS Carriers, Burlington, Schneider and JBHunt cabovers everywhere. I was one of the few solo drivers that had a condo. Now they all have them. :)

    I applied Injuns theory to get my flatbed mentor. I did orientation in Phoenix and they sent me home to sit for a week and a half. I called every day and very nicely pestered them. The bus ride to El Paso sucked to high heaven, Grayhound is a pit of a company, but I met up with the guy and we have been on the road for three weeks. I got the mentor faster than I thought I would.
