Moriarty, NM. Looked at my MPG when finished the day in almost mostly headwinds accross US-54 and I-40, and made me sick. 5.9. Hoping once west of ALB, will get better.

Anthony, TX. Pilot. I was just here a few days ago but I can't remember where I was going at that time.

When did you get here? You shoulda told me you were on your way. I'd have kicked the dog out of your chair and had a soda ready for you.

You really should let me know when you're on your way. I'd like to have some hot food ready next time. I'm a great cook.

No. That's the county seat of Lower Left BFE.

I'll be headed to the hooch after the next series of deliveries. Well. Sort of. The way it works is I take a 34 or hometime or whatever during a dispatch and return to the barn after that's done. I keep running out of hours here! Lot of stop pay. It more than makes up for any revenue "lost" by not pulling the same miles. Stops don't cost me fuel, either. Each day equals anywhere between 40 to 80 bucks in stop pay alone. Average 60. So roughly $360/week (6 days) is stop pay. Better exercise, too.

The only drawback to this gig is not getting out of Upper BFE. But ya know? That's really okay with me. The more I do this, the better I like it. Really hoping I can make it permanent.
