Winslow Az. Lathrop thought it was cute to send me to Texas with a delivery 2 days before home time in So Cal. But the wife is with me on this run so I took the 3rd run in 4 weeks that is over 1000 miles. Sometimes I feel like a J.B. driver.
Good night from...

Lake Havasu City, AZ. Darn, it is still hot here. Tried to send in Mac 30, get back a reply, my PTA is more than 18 hours away. Last time that I looked, it was about 15 hours away. Guess that the computer has not updated my PTA, even tho it has been the same for the past 3 days on my MAC 10. For the last 3 days when I send my my MAC 10, comes back and says driver changed PTA. Have not changed it once. It has been 1030 on the 18th since I sent one in of Fri. I guess that the computer is messed up. My Load Assignment says del on the 19th, and has a pta of 0550 on the 18th. Go figure.

Still in the same place, closing in on a 34 very soon. Turned down a load last night that was 700 miles with 3 days to get there-- would have made a very short week. Got another preplan but it picks up 27 hours after my 34 is done so turned that one down in hopes of getting something sooner but they haven't pulled it off my truck. Thinking they are trying to force this load on me....

Barstow, CA. Woke this morning feeling like crap and got as far as here. Went back to Plan, deliver on the original day, 7/19. Found out why I could not use MAC 30. Somehow my PTA was in the computer for 7/19, and I did not know, when the load assignment said 7/18 and all of my Mac 10's said 7/18. It was just never updated.

North Platte,NE dropped at the Walmart DC next to the Flying J and sat all day waiting for a pp. Finally got one and its to pickup at the Walmart DC I just dropped at in the morning heading to Rancho Cucamopnga,CA. At least I finally got off the east coast for a little bit, running I81 and I95 for weeks unend was getting tiring. Have a little extra time so planning on a nice relaxed ride through the rockies tomorrow, I have family in Colorado and its one of my favorite states.
Rattlebunny Thanks this. -
Been having weird issues setting my pta also. Tried to changed the time on last load never got any message back. Dropped early this morning and a few hours later I get a message like when your DM changes your pta, setting it to about 30 minutes after my ecall. When I got dispatched on that load it also was strange, I had to bt to get an mt, so it didn't dispatch right away. I drive 45 minutes to where they sent me, give my dm the trl number and it spits back a partial fuel route that looked like it was starting near Houston ( I was in AR near Little Rock) and the you do not have enough hours message but no dispatch.

I keep getting messages over the QC about how slow freight is, yet I'm getting planned with no problems. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait between delivery and the next pickup, but nothing major. I've always wondered why drivers get planned so differently. Drivers who are hard runners and begging for more miles are left sitting while I am running good miles without even asking for it. It's strange, especially considering I am solo and company which should put me bottom of the heap when it comes to pre plans.

I have noticed a slight slow down, but thats probably because I'm not on the east coast anymore. When I'm out there the pp normally comes before I deliver. Something tells me a lot of the times the ones complaining about sitting have something else going on, like they turn down loads they should take or they piss off their DM. If I'm sitting more than a few hours my DM has even messaged me telling my why and he is working on getting me a load, so at least I know he is paying attention.
Will have an off week this week but thats more because of the combination of shop time, a screwed up shipper that caused the load to need a team to be on time, and I'm leaving on a Tuesday with a long run that doesn't deliver until Thursday morning. All that means is next week should be a good week. -
Home. Just came off a 34 reset and went and delivered this afternoon. I can get used to this home everynight thing. Too bad it ends tomorrow. Have to head to michigan
