Some thought on the new Q-Com system

I just can't wait to see this check...If I left it up to our lazy weekend staff, I'd still be in Chicago. That load delivered Monday. Dropped it Saturday and got another load that delivered in Columbus OH on Monday. Got there and the guy unloaded me. He was the only one there, and didn't want to, but with a little per$uasion he had me unloaded within the hour.

 

My FM had to dig into the old system to get some phone numbers for me... I haven't ran into a big problem though, I usually use google maps on my phone and see where the address takes me. It usually is pretty good and then from there if I don't have a number on the QC there is usually a thing I can click on the maps and gives me the phone number for the company and I call that. That phone number isn't always 100% but neither is USA's haha!

I don't move my truck until I look on google maps, check directions (call place if none), check map, check gps, write directions on windshield and then I go. But thats me ...

 

the payroll department just swithched to the new system and I didn't get paid till Monday morning. I hope they got it together this week though. this new q-comm system blows!

 

I don't get my direct deposit until Monday Morning anyways...

 

The system is not without its challenges, but its manageable. No driving until your sure where you are and where your going. Between goggle and gps its not too bad. But its not our function to be investigators. Which some of this turns into.

 

how long have you been with USA?

 

I wish we had a separate section our assignments went to. After sending multiple messages to them after an assignment, then you have to scroll thru 20 messages to get to the assignments to respond. I also wish they would send directions to shipper and cons with the load. Would make things much easier.
