Sitting around the picnic area at the Denver terminal, talking with a lease operator who has the same truck year and model you have. She said the truck has 319 horsepower to the ground. I was a little skeptical, she also said L/O's are no longer allowed to upgrade to 13 speeds unless you're on a heavy haul fleet and no fridges nor TV's nor APU's allowed (unless you own the truck, not lease). She said her truck was wimpy in the power department as well, and she had no jakes coming down the mountains, 75+ before she could get it back down, that's how fast getting out of control can get you even for a very experienced driver.
SLC, must be plenty of freight, although no pp for me, the minute I came through the gate, guys were asking if I was going to drop the empty I had lol. I drove through the car wash and over to the shop for new brakes on the trailer as they were a bit thin.Abby and I are tucked away nicely in the dark here with our precious empty just waiting for a pp now.Rattlebunny Thanks this. -

Scottie, I would be a little skeptical. When I received the truck, there was even a brouchure in the truck about getting a fridge from the KW dealer in PHX, and a special rate, and only for Swift drivers that receive their truck from IEL. As far as Jakes, I do not know. Mine are great. In fact comming down a very long one the other day, speed 34. I was in 7th, and the jakes held me right at 35. I also do not understand the part about the t.v.

In Washington, might be hanging around for a little while.

Scottie, there is a reason the driver's lounge is called the Liar's Corner. I think that woman is FOS on the fridge and APU.
inkeper Thanks this. -
Nah ... I won't hold you accountable. But, I probably won't respect you in the morning ...
Loafing, at the new Pueblo Loves. Load picks up this evening and have 'til tomorrow evening to deliver. Works out good, starting to bump my 70 and this will let some hours catch up with me. -
Here in Phoenix now. Looks like hotel for 2 nights. the quality inn. a better place to stay then the Premier Inn, and better price, and walking distance to Wal-Mart and in house restruant. Injun, agree with you. I think that she was FOS.
Injun Thanks this.
