Forgot to say, we're in Sparks, leaving tonight for Idaho Falls.
Dropped my loaded trailer earlier around the corner from the terminal here, nice little park nearby, a bike/hike path along the river as well. Abby and I chilled out under the trees for several hours, had several load offerings but had a severe case of the ''funk-its', besides there was a lot of skin showing down on the beach, and Abby wanted to go swimming.
Coming out of the terminal, go to the light at Hulda, turn right and go to Franklin T/L, follow around to the park. If on foot or bike, T/R on Greg street outside of the terminal there from Hulda, first light go south to the paved path along the river.
Good night from...

Scottie
Being a local, I have fly fished that section of the river numerous times on the way home from work in the evening. Just below that park where everyone swims is great fishing. I have pulled numerous Rainbows and Brown trout out of there. I have even had deer come down to the river for a drink while I was quietly fishing there. I think these little gems are lost on a lot of the locals.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Winslow, Az. got a lot of time on load going to Phoenix from up in Minnesota and have just been taking it easy.

I love that bike path in Sparks, its great to go jogging early in the morning when no one else is up yet. Just gotta be careful not to trip over the geesescottied67 Thanks this. -
Just did SIMS myself. I hate video games, so the spacial differences threw me. I only ran over one car that was passing someone in my lane and I had nowhere to go and was hit by another car that passed me in a no passing zone.
I'm in the same place I was last night, 534 miles later. The crocheting ex-Marine isn't working tonight. Full tummy and a little bird bath, so I'm clean, too. Life is good. Oh. I have 1,800 miles in for the week and three more days to work. With no doubt there will be loads to haul. -
Tourists are almost making me wish for winter.
Little truck stop in Bliss, ID. Will be here till tomorrow afternoon to let my hours catch up ... Deliver in Portland, Tuesday morning.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Sorry Scottie, I couldn't resist this. Being from New England I can tell you that both peanuts and taters grow under the ground. As a matter of fact, in one part of Maine, they can come out purple! No Lie! Don't be a hater eat them taters.

scottied67 and Injun Thank this. -
Heading to IP in Union Gap, WA to get a load T-calling in Spokane.
Got on a kiosk and discovered I'm now bronze. Must be those three weeks off in June waiting for a truck. Lost a lot of potential miles that month.... -
Back in the hotel here in PHX. had my truck checked out, and was told that my HP is 340 to the ground. The MGR here at the KW does not know why they are turning them down. Talked to a mechanic in the shop that used to work for Swift, and he told me, they are turned down so that someone that has not been a truck for a long time, does not crest a hill at a high speed, and then start down the other side. A safety issue. Personally, I have a issue with it.
Rattlebunny Thanks this.
