McGehee, Ar. was supposed to load paper to IN, i reminded them that i was still hooked to a high cube, and he said dont worry, it's drop and hook. Get to shipper and they wanted me to live load, asked if i could switch trailers with one that was on the yard.. long story short, they said no, and dispatch has been working on a plan for the past hour and some minutes.. good news is that i just saw a werner driver, and she is dressed for some serious summer weather.. wasn't sure if she was a driver or not.. but she is, she really is.

STILL broke down in Ripon, CA. I can't get to a shop until someone repowers this load. And California is out of our primary running area. Guess it's laundry time.

 

I am to go to Great Dane Trailers in Houston for an empty.

Not to mention this "truck stop" (a term used as loosely as ever before) is mostly closed....shop is closed, scale gone....geez...

Update: I just realized this is the oft-discussed former "Windmill" T/S. Never been here before....looks like it may have been pretty decent in past years....uh, decades.....
