Effingham, Il at the Flyin J.. another company driver jus pulled in and he looks "ruff".. i'm not understanding why some of these drivers carry themselves the way they do.

it varies on what they do. like a flatbedder can pretty much jump out of his truck buck naked with boots on and covered in greases and that'll still be acceptable to me.. i've dont the whole skateboard thing, and depending on where and what you load, it's hard not to get dirty..

no comment on tankers.. haven't played with those yet..

but these dry van guys.. i dont understand why half of them look worse then the flatbedders. i saw a schneider driver in crosset, ar (most likely spelled that city wrong) and he looked like he was drugged through a construction site by a front end loader. i'm doing van and the only time i get dirty is when i'm sweeping out a trailer, or walkin back to the truck and a foo foo, doesn't have the common curtsey to idle by me with his engine fan on and instead roars by at 17oorpm and crop dusts me and everyone else.. but that's it..

it just seems like because of the profession, alot of guys really don't care about their appearance and just look like what ever, and then act amazed that the public looks down on us. i'm still trying to figure out whats the deal with the crocs. are they comfortable?
