ok guys and gals...need opinions...we are looking for local....but live 70 miles from Dallas....how many of you would be willing to make that drive every day...dont mind the drive so much...but only want a 10 hr workday then instead of 12....cuz with the commute, makes for A LONG DAY.....having trouble finding a job only 10 hr shift tho....think if we take a 12 hr...we will get burned out quick......in OK headed to Little Rock...load of taters

When I'm working, I drive 75 miles one way. I look at it as I do what I have to do for a paycheck. Generally, I work 8-10 hours a day, but the last job I was at, I did some 12-15 hour days. This may sound weird (quiet y'all :biggrin_25522:) but it bothered me more when I worked nights than when it was on days. Even when I worked just the 8, by the time I got home all I wanted to do was drop in my bed. On days, I could stay up til 9 or 10, get up at 4, and still feel good all day.

Good luck on whatever you decide CB & G
