Those shop guys work pretty hard over the weekend, you don't have anyway to check on it today or are you not in a hurry?

 

Just called again. Dpf needs to be replaced or cleaned. Shop said call back later to get a better time estimate. Still looking at late this week.They got the wiring issue fixed and it won't regenerate as its too far gone now. I guess they reset the counter too many times.

 

Yeah sounds like you're better off with a new truck. At least you're at the right terminal for that.

 

Dunno about that. Saw a new driver get an 06 Volvo. 300 trade ins this month means slim pickings for the rest of us who want out from broke trucks that aren't due to trade in.

 

So I might be in my 502000+ truck for a while, huh? Sounds like they are playing this "let's not buy enough new trucks and see how many drivers we lose!" game to the fullest.

Shop told me my 08 will go to 700k if possible. Got 500k on it now. Truck assignment mentioned they are working on the 302xxx trucks now getting them turned in. That 06 Volvo had 494k miles on it and they gave it to a new driver. So the scuttlebutt I am getting is not from drivers but I really can't confirm an verify it.

 

Hmmmm, I got a 301### truck. It's an '07. Maybe I stand a chance after all.

 

Same here. QC shows almost 499000 miles, while dash odometer shows 497500.

Still at home, going to Houston tomorrow.

 

Laramie, WY. Now I remember why I avoided I-80 these last 3 years. Have a pplan already to head to Nampa Monday for a drop on Tuesday. With my luck, the wind will shift direction on me. Now the QC is locked up. was working fine before din din. The touch screen is not working. Any advice. Hope that it will fix it self later during the evening when it does it thing.
