I'm missing something here, does the APU need to be running at all times? The way it's set up now the fridge is wired into the electrical system of the truck, not the APU.

Well, my opinion about Volvo, the corporation, the truck itself, and the dealer network hasn't changed, especially when it comes to me and my thoughts about the whole mess. I got a call from Ray, the head of our shop in Pittston early this afternoon. I thought it was a rather nice gesture on his part. He called to give me an update on my truck. The EGR cooler is on national backorder. Can you believe this? A part that they are having a tremendous problem with, and it's on backorder. Anyway he told me that they had one in our shop in Pittston and they sent it overnight to the dealer in Greenville. Pretty good, a dealer doesn't have the part but we do. Anyway, it will arrive in the morning and they should have me put back together and rolling by Wednesday mid morning. Ray told me not to leave the house until he get's a status report tomorrow. I figure I'll leave late tomorrow and get pretty close to Greenville then get a motel tomorrow night. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Okay so what's the super secret truck stops for fueling across 94/90 on the dreaded kent, washington run? The two drivers I have contact numbers for just told me to drop back down to 80. I'd like to know what the secret is for future reference because 80 adds a lot of miles.

Next question anybody ever get a number on their paycheck for mileage that divided by mileage pay equaled a decimal?

What happen where's I got stuck in pittston for a week between waiting over fourth of july weekend for the shop and the lack of freight available when my truck was ready. So I had no miles or pay for that week. The next week I get my mileage from the trip that I had made, a second entry for the bogus mileage, and per diem ductions 4 both weeks. When I divide the bogus mileage by my mileage rate it equals to a number of miles with 2 decimal places.

Use your Comdata Card at any truck stop you want to that accepts it. I ran that way a half a dozen times and was happy to be able and fuel off network.

Ok, I thought so. I'm sure there's a way to wire an aftermarket fridge into the harness that the old one connectewd to.
