With a gallon loss water every 500 miles your oil would done be crapy white by now. If no leak can be seen and your DFP needs cleaning its a good chance thats where your water is going, bad EGR cooler.
Also I dont know if International/Cummins uses a water cooler for the trans or not but they can go bad and fill the tranny up with coolant and if that happens the tranny will have to be rebuilt. Dont let them BS you on that!!!!
My money is on the EGR thingy.

indianapolis on yet ANOTHER firm appointment that I was only 11 miles away from and 4 hours early for when i got the load assignment.

" you're early. back into door 40 and we'll try to have you out of here by 10pm" this was at 2:30.

so, hurry up and wait again. then, off to rochester and since I can't get loaded early going to play beat the clock getting there and be out of hours when i do.

Had an electrical issue with this one when I picked up day before yesterday. Instructed to go to TA/Petro. Got there yesterday and discovered problem in both the receptacle and pigtail. Just gotta love those multiple challenges. Fortunately the TA in NV was not busy and they love what they do.
