    Looks like I'm headed to Melrose, MN for a later tonight unload then down to The Cities to get some work done to the truck tomorrow..

    It's more about a driver's knowledge of the HOS rules and management of his/her hours.

    Yes, there are times when e-logs are just a few minutes too unforgiving. But over the decade I was on paper, there were times when it, too, was equally unforgiving. (I did not use two books.)

    I agree with Ironpony...most of the time, it's going to come down to honing those self-management skills. And occasionally, you get a bad break. Life happens.
