10th day with my mentor sitting at the pilot truck stop off I-80 and I-69. Ran through some mean thunderstorms today coming across Illinois and Indiana. Ohio, Penn and New York tomorrow for delivery.

been home since thursday. getting some much needed time with the wife. back out tuesday if i'm not on safety hold or something stupid like that.

 

Somewhere in Washington State on the bank of the dammed Columbia River. No, really...Chief Joseph Dam, Grand Coulee Dam, Wanapum Dam, McNary Dam, John Day Dam, The Dalles Dam, Bonneville Dam..... I know I'm missing some...all on the dammed Columbia.

Cheyenne WY again. I am feeling like SLC is hiding me from Fontucky. Got my load t called as I ran out of my 70 due to a rookie mistake of not accounting for hours already used for the day when planning a load. 90 miles short of the final but another driver repowered it so all is good.

 

Here at the Red lion next to the Denver terminal waiting till Monday to get word on an available truck.

Opted for a second night at a hotel in Flagstaff AZ. Normally would have tried to t-call a load with this much time on it but trying to get home by Thursday for a mentor class. Plus it's only 81 degrees here compared to 110 degrees in Phoenix where the load is headed.
