Idk man. My mom bought me a plane ticket back to Florida, I leave KC at 1:50pm and arrive in Tampa at 7:34...I guess I'm just going to get online and just fill out a ton of apps and see whats out there. I'm pretty sure I'll get something pretty quick...at least I hope so. Hows Panther?

It is a blessing, go home take a few days calm down and make some phone calls you finished training with Trans Am so possibly that will help you with new employer. A lesson learned the hard way, the trucking bussiness will chew you up and spit you out, but only if you let it.

Make phone calls, talk to the person, and then fill out the app, that way the recruitor will hopefully have it forwarded to them instead of going with hundreds of other online apps. Its called working around the system. Getting in through the back door, get your minds out of the gutter lol. Be sure and thank your mom for getting you home, but if you are gonna do this you gotta be able to take care of yourself. Good luck and keep us posted.

    Lspilot82 Thanks this.

I would recommend Schneider, JB Hunt , Werner, or another big company. Why ? Get a year in , they will have relatively stable miles and freight. You'll drive all over creation and they will be able to keep you as busy as you want to be. Go play in the snow all winter long. I would recommend the I-80 and I-70 corridor. Be flexible with your hometime. You can take it wherever you like. Squeeze every mile you can out of whatever company you go with. If you really want to own a truck save up a little $ and go buy one on your own terms. Then look at a respectable company to pull their trailers.

Why blame the driver? He knew Trans Am was going to rip him off and ran like hell. Too bad more people don't run away from these scams.

I would walk away from some b.s like that too. It just kills me the way some of these companies bully drivers like that. It's just not right

They aren't the only ones that do that many will ask if you want to LP or have considered LP in orentation, when you test out after being with a trainer if you still don't want LP then you wait for a truck. Shaddy, yes but all to common.

For someone classified as a "wannabe" Bandit Trucker sure seems to know a lot about actual numbers and what goes on at Trans Am.
